Verite

Part of Jackson Family Estate, Verite is a collaboration with the winemaking mastermind Pierre Seillan, who’s genius has established Verite as one of California’s most successful and celebrated projects. Understandably, the focus is on Bordeaux varieties, however these are anything but imitation Bordeaux.

The wines can give any First Growth Bordeaux a run for their money, proving that California stands tall with the world’s finest wines. Verite has three different wines under its belt, all three are necessary to truly understand Verite as a whole. The philosophy is that La Muse is the Right Bank Pomerol look-alike, Robert Parker even writes “the wine is amazingly like a great vintage of Petrus”, La Joie the Medoc-like clone akin to Lafite, and Le Desir a St. Emilion in the style of Ausone. The consistency coming from this trio is remarkable, every year at least one of the wines receives 100 points from The Wine Advocate and the other two are not far away.
