To re-cap, a long-term customer of Lay & Wheeler Trading has decided to part ways with his collection, cellared in California, simply because he no longer spends time in the USA.
Whilst others producers in the region create blockbuster, gut-punching wines, Cathy produces elegant, fresh, lower alcohol Cabs which are revered globally. Antonio Galloni writes “These aren’t the biggest or most obvious wines being made in the valley, but readers who are willing to spend some time getting to know these refined Cabernets will be amply rewarded”. This extensive offer is the largest single collection of these stellar Napa Cabernets in the UK and is unlikely to ever be seen again.
