These pristine citrus, ripe white-peach, and toasted notes were shaped by what Jancis Robinson calls a “goldilocks” year for South African viticulture, where dry, cool conditions and strong Cape winds kept the fruit healthy and disease-free – and just right! This release anchors a sweeping triumph for the newly crowned 2026 Winery of the Year, with nearly every wine in the lineup earning an outstanding 96 points from Tim Atkin MW.

This consistent brilliance reflects the vision of owner Samantha O’Keefe, whom critic Anthony Mueller calls “a trailblazer who is making some of South Africa’s most focused, precise and thoughtful wines.” Samantha moved from California to the remote, dramatic foothills of Greyton within the Overberg District, planting her vines 300 meters high. Thriving in the summer sun and weathering bitter winter snows, these vines have single-handedly put this cool-climate appellation on the map for quality wine production defined by balance and freshness.
