The 2023 Chablis Fôret 1er Cru has an expressive nose of Clementine and touches of grapefruit commingling with flint and light loamy scents. The palate is very well balanced with a sapid entry, a citric line of acidity. Quite sharp and edgy towards the finish, as Chablis ought to be. One for those seeking classically styled Chablis.
