Tasting Notes
Neal Martin 93-95
The 2022 Clos de Vougeot Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru, which includes 60% and 70% whole bunches, has a very complex bouquet with red berry fruit, Earl Grey, hints of rooibos and just a hint of white pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite a structured and fresh Clos Vougeot with plenty of energy on the finish. I suspect this may close down for a few years.
Anticipated maturity: 2027-2050
