The 2022 Barolo Tre Tine is a very pretty wine that shows what was possible in this challenging vintage. It’s very much a light-bodied, ethereal, perfumed Barolo, and yet all the elements are so well balanced. This is a very pleasant wine in a brutal year. There are no hard edges, but this is a decidedly soft Barolo. Kirsch, hard candy, dried flowers and a kick of orange peel linger.
