Grapes partially sourced from the vineyards of Mouton, Clerc Milon and d’Armailhac. 62% Cabernet, 28% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. The nose opens on spice aromas accompanied by... blackcurrant and blackberry, then on airing with vanilla and mocha notes. After a rich and powerful attack with an attractive touch of vanilla, black fruit flavours come to the fore on the mid-palate. Underpinned by a fine tannic structure, leading into a finish which lingers on coffee notes, with highly elegant tannins. Decant for an hour and enjoy this Pauillac with a roast beef. 13% abv
